National Programme

CCR's National Programme seeks to contribute to peacebuilding efforts in South Africa and to act as a catalyst for conflict transformation through capacity building.

The National Programme is implemented through CCR's Mediation and Training Services Project.

Mediation and Training Services Project (MTS)

The Mediation and Training Services Project acts as an independent third-party mediator and facilitator at the request of parties in conflict. It provides training in facilitation, mediation and other conflict resolution skills.

Since its launch in 1989, the Mediation and Training Services Project has contributed to the management and resolution of significant community political conflicts in the Western Cape, as well as to the prevention and resolution of violent conflicts — in particular, through mediation, conflict resolution, and capacity-building activities.
