The 2009 Think Tank Index

The University of Pennsylvania "Global Go To Think Tank Rankings" for 2009, a comprehensive ranking of 6,305 think tanks worldwide in nearly 170 countries, was launched at the United Nations in January 2010. For the second consecutive year, the survey ranks the Centre for Conflict Resolution (CCR) as the leading think tank in Africa, and the only African organisation listed in the top 50 non-US think tanks globally. The report was written by James McGann of the University of Pennsylvania.
